The Regulatory Technical Standards or “RTS” are an essential and crucial part to comply with the PSD2 directive that has entered into force on January 13th for EU member states.
The RTS refer to the application of strong customer authentication (SCA) and secure open standards of communication (CSC). Even though PSD2 is already in place, the RTS will only become applicable as of September 2019. It is therefore urgent to ensure essential insight into this matter.
